Information Technology organization develops innovative IT services that help to transform data into knowledge. IT provides services to enable secure, reliable and productive operations around the clock. The service portfolio is wide; from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.
Product Lifecycle Management unit is responsible for management and development of IT systems related to products, product development and engineering. You will be part of PLM team, which is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Konecranes global PLM/PDM systems.
As a Configuration Owner, you will work in close co-operation with IT infrastructure, application development and system support teams. We are accountable for global PDM system (Teamcenter) with high availability and performance commitments to wide set of engineering and manufacturing operations.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Translate business needs into IT requirements and system design
- Own the overall design and architecture of the PLM system infrastructure
- Ensures technical integrity and compliance with guidelines on architecture, security, GDPR etc.
- Part of team that resolves major incidents together with application support team
- Accountable for technical documentation like system landscape documentation
- Scrum master duties
What we expect from you:
To succeed in this position, you need have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 3+ years’ work experience in the field of IT processes.
In addition:
- Good understanding of IT maintenance practices
- Strong knowledge about how to develop and optimize highly scalable and distributed multi-tier client-server environments
- Good understanding about infrastructure related resources (for example storages and cloud)
- Configuration knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Good communication and language skills: good English, both spoken and written is required
- Scrum / Agile way of working knowledge
- PLM especially Teamcenter knowledge is seen as advantage.
